FAQs

Therapy & Counselling

The number of sessions depends on your specific goals, the complexity of your concerns, and your level of involvement in the process. After understanding your needs, your therapist will suggest a frequency that’s tailored to you, ensuring the best possible results.
Sessions are available in Hindi, English, and Gujarati. Choose the language that feels most comfortable for you.
In the case of an emergency or crisis, please contact one of the emergency helplines. They provide immediate assistance and can connect you with appropriate resources. We are not crisis counsellors and may not always be available outside scheduled sessions. This policy is in place to prevent dependency and to uphold professional boundaries.
Feeling comfortable with your therapist is essential. If you’re uncomfortable or hesitant, share it openly — your therapist is trained to handle such conversations professionally and may adjust their approach to better suit you.
If you’re not feeling comfortable with how sessions are going, bring it up. Therapy is a collaborative process, and your feedback helps guide the direction of your care. We can adjust the approach, focus on different areas, or discuss any concerns. If needed, we can also explore switching therapists to find the right fit.
Please visit the Therapeutic Terms & Conditions page for detailed information.
Yes, we offer therapy to minors in accordance with the Mental Healthcare Act (MHCA), 2017 — ensuring care that is ethical, lawful, and in the best interest of the young client. A minor can receive treatment with the informed consent of their Nominated Representative. For clients below 18, we require written consent or acknowledgment from a responsible adult — not necessarily the biological parent or legal guardian — who can understand the process and provide informed consent on the minor’s behalf.
We do not offer chat-based therapy. Therapy is most effective when it includes visual and relational elements — facial expressions, body language, and emotional presence are crucial to understanding and supporting you fully. Sessions are offered through video or in person to ensure the highest quality of care.
We offer in-person sessions at our Kandivali, Mumbai office between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. Please reach out directly to confirm your appointment. For online sessions, appointments can be scheduled through Calendly.
We currently offer individual therapy and couples counselling. We do not provide family therapy at this time. Couples counselling can support communication, conflict, rebuilding trust, intimacy, infidelity, and feeling more connected as a team.
No. Our services are inclusive of all relationship types — dating, live-in, married, separated, or non-traditional partnerships. We also offer LGBTQIA+ affirmative couples counselling, providing a safe and inclusive space for all identities and orientations.
